Workshop „Lightroom in a Nutshell”
I've had three approaches to using Lightroom. The first two were disasters; I installed trial versions on my phone and computer, only to give up after a few days. Reflecting on it today, I can't quite understand why that happened. Perhaps it's because I finally met someone who sat down with me and explained how to navigate all the magic sliders, masks, and presets until they became remarkably simple.
Now, I want to pass that same knowledge on to you. In common language and within the context of photo editing, terms like "photo processing" or "post-production" often have negative connotations. People assume it involves manipulating a photo to look drastically different from the original scene.
I want to debunk that myth. Lightroom is a tool designed primarily for processing raw images, replacing the darkroom used in analog photography. I aim to teach you how to work with raw pictures and allow them to authentically convey the stories your eyes witnessed.
In our two-hour online session, you'll learn:
The purpose of sliders and when to use them.
How to work with presets, masks, and ways to correct or remove unwanted elements from photos.
Technical aspects, such as uploading and saving photos in selected formats and creating your own settings (presets).
Important considerations for making pictures look good on social media and in prints.
After an online session with me, Lightroom will no longer hold any secrets. What might have once seemed like an unpleasant duty in working with photos will transform into a great pleasure—just as it did for me. I invite you to embrace the modern world of photo editing!
