About me

Hi!

I'm delighted that you have visited my website!
My name is Kasia, and I spent almost my entire life in Poland. Everything changed in December 2020 when, during the pandemic, I moved with my family to the land of banks, cheeses, and chocolate.
Now, I reside in what I consider the most beautiful Swiss city—Zurich. I had dreamed of living in Switzerland ever since my first visit as a student. Perhaps that initial experience influenced my decision to later work for a Swiss company?

When the opportunity to work and live in Switzerland presented itself, we didn't hesitate. We packed our belongings for the exciting journey ahead. On a daily basis, I work in the financial sector and am a proud mom to a wonderful boy who recently started school. I have a deep love for Switzerland and enjoy exploring its diverse landscapes. Weekends find me in the mountains, mountain passes, or at the lakes, where I can't resist admiring and photographing the breathtaking beauty of Swiss nature.

And why photography?

Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I received my first small electronic camera on my 18th birthday. After a while, I switched to a DSLR camera, which was still a relatively new product on the market, mainly used by professionals. I primarily used the AUTO mode and captured images in JPEG format. My life took a turn, and my passion took a back seat.

Until I moved to Switzerland. If you're familiar with this country, you'll understand why! If not, let me tell you—it's nearly impossible to explore Switzerland without being compelled to capture its breathtaking landscapes. The scenery practically begs for taking a picture!
This is how I rediscovered my passion for photography.

I am learning, watching tutorials and, ultimately, experimenting on my own to extract the most from my pictures.

Over the last three years, I've made significant progress. Maybe not enough to win prizes in international photo competitions, but certainly enough to share this knowledge or to capture you amidst the magnificent Swiss landscapes.

None of this would have happened without my Instagram Community, my family, and my friends who consistently encouraged me to "do something about it".

So, here I am, inviting you into the world of photography, regardless of which side of the camera you want to stand on.
